Overview
AmeriPharma Specialty Care, a division of Harper’s Pharmacy, provides advanced treatments for rare conditions and complex therapies. The pharmacy partnered with us to redesign their website, improve search rankings, enhance user experience, optimize for mobile, and strengthen their credibility in the competitive healthcare market.
We delivered a modern, fast, and accessible modern WordPress website that enhances user experience and visibility for both patients and healthcare providers.
Problem

AmeriPharma’s old website didn’t reflect the high level of care they provide. It was underdeveloped for their target audiences (i.e., patients, healthcare providers, and caregivers) and lacked mobile optimization. Content (particularly for key services such as IVIG therapy, TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition), and oncology medications) was not tailored to target critical keywords, hindering the website’s ability to rank effectively on search engines.
The company also needed the site to better reflect their commitment to customer service and trustworthiness. In addition to addressing technical issues and website design, they wanted to improve their digital marketing efforts, focusing on organic SEO as opposed to relying solely on paid search.
Solution
We redesigned AmeriPharma’s website to prioritize user experience, mobile optimization, and trust-building. Key features, such as simplified prescription refill forms, intuitive provider portals, and custom communication forms, enhanced usability. Pages for IVIG therapy, TPN, and oncology treatments were added alongside GDPR-compliant cookie consent integration. SEO efforts increased visibility with optimized content, targeted keywords, and revamped blog articles, boosting rankings for specialty medications. On-page SEO improvements, such as image compression and browser caching, enhanced loading speed, while conversion tracking provided actionable insights to continuously optimize performance.
Web Design and Development
The website underwent a complete redesign with a focus on user experience, mobile optimization, and trust-building. The goal was to create a user-friendly and mobile-first website for patients, healthcare providers, and caregivers.
A mobile-first approach was used to ensure a seamless and fast experience across devices. Speed optimization techniques were employed, minimizing load times and improving page speed without relying on additional plugins. Speed was particularly important given the website’s large volume of patients, many of whom rely on mobile devices to manage their healthcare needs.
The website structure was redesigned. Key features such as prescription refill forms and provider portals were simplified and made more intuitive, allowing patients to easily manage refills and providers to submit prescriptions without unnecessary barriers. Custom forms were implemented through GoHighLevel to streamline communication.
Content migration and restructuring were also key for the project. The pharmacy’s existing website content was migrated to the new design, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and alignment with the company’s services. Key pages, such as those detailing IVIG therapy, TPN, and oncology treatments, were reorganized to improve usability. The website used GDPR-compliant cookie consent integration to meet privacy standards, a crucial element for a healthcare-related site.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO strategy focused on improving AmeriPharma’s online visibility for critical keywords, particularly in the competitive field of specialty medications. Site content was optimized for keywords such as “IVIG therapy,” “oncology medications,” and “specialty pharmacy”. The blog section was also revamped to function like a news site, featuring content related to disease states, medications, and industry updates. Articles were carefully crafted to target keywords and help improve the website’s ranking for searches related to rare disease states and specialty medications.
On-page SEO entailed revising meta titles, descriptions, and header tags for all critical pages for better indexability. Image compression and browser caching were employed to enhance the website’s loading time. Moreover, our copy team wrote optimized content for the pharmacy’s website and Google Business Profile (GBP).
Conversion tracking of blog post conversions, form submissions, and other key user actions was implemented to monitor the effectiveness of SEO efforts. This allows our team to analyze user behavior, adjust content strategies, and continuously improve performance over time.
