Overview
Easy Pet Fence, a company specializing in pet containment solutions, sought a comprehensive overhaul of its ecommerce website to improve user experience, streamline content management, and enhance the website’s performance. The client contacted us to build and launch a website quickly for an event. Working with the Easy Pet Fence team, we developed a solution that focused on maximizing real estate for key product information, simplifying product page layouts, and integrating dynamic content. The final product delivered a user-friendly, dynamic, and mobile-optimized BigCommerce website that not only met but exceeded client expectations for both functionality and aesthetics.
Problem

Several key issues for the website primarily centered around user engagement, site speed, and content management. Their product pages lacked real-time updates and made it difficult for customers to navigate and find relevant information quickly. The client needed a solution that could efficiently manage large volumes of content, including product details and reviews, while improving the website’s visual appeal and usability.
The client was participating in an event and needed a website within a week. They needed a website that would load efficiently without sacrificing content richness. They also had specific requests regarding SEO optimization, accessibility, and mobile usability, all of which required a careful and thoughtful approach.
Solution
Easy Pet Fence’s new BigCommerce website features a curated influencer content feed and improved navigation with a dynamically generated mega menu. Accordion-style FAQs and personalized recommendations were added to product pages for clarity and content depth. Content was optimized for SEO, with streamlined product titles and categorized reviews. To boost engagement, we incorporated a curated social feed and YouTube tutorials within a stylish popup interface. The website also includes a customized Request A Quote form and enhanced ADA compliance features.


Web Development
Our team developed a BigCommerce website that integrated several new features such as dynamic product recommendations, a curated feed for influencer content, and improved navigation with a dynamic mega menu. The first priority was to overhaul the product pages and balance visual simplicity with content depth. Important information such as recommended products and influencer content were made easily accessible without cluttering the page. We implemented accordion-based frequently asked questions (FAQs) for easy content updates and organization.

Dynamic Product Recommendation
We added a dynamic product recommendation feature that considered user interactions and browsing history. We also implemented a dynamic content system that displayed content based on customizable parameters set by the client, ensuring that the website could be easily updated and maintained as their product catalog expanded.
For the product titles, shorter versions were displayed on product cards for display purposes while full titles remained accessible on product pages for SEO purposes. We categorized their Yotpo reviews and displayed a single review by default.

YouTube Integration
To support influencer content and increase user engagement, we incorporated a curated feed feature that pulled in posts based on specific hashtags. YouTube video integration was set up such that users could access multiple video tutorials within a stylish popup interface, improving accessibility and keeping the page layout clean.

Optimization and ADA Compliance
We redesigned and deployed a dynamically generated mega menu to prevent hard coding and to make it easier for the client to update the menu. We also optimized page loading speeds by compressing images and added a customized Request A Quote form.
Since accessibility was a top priority, we worked to enhance ADA compliance across the website. We also made sure the website functioned seamlessly across mobile devices.

Results
We launched EasyPetFence.com in just a week, delivering a significantly improved user experience and functionality. The dynamic product pages, featuring accordion-based FAQs and personalized recommendations, boosted engagement, while the integrated influencer feed kept content fresh and aligned with marketing strategies.

Updates to the footer, size guide, and product cards further refined usability.
