Overview

NS Corporation, an American manufacturer of car wash equipment, has seen their brand grow with our services. With our search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per click (PPC) services, the brand saw increases in its conversions, traffic, users, sessions, leads and revenue. The client then paused PPC and SEO services after migrating their website from Magento to BigCommerce. They paused for roughly 18 months, and saw declines in traffic, conversions, and leads. The client contacted us to help them get great results once again.

Problem

NS Corporation’s Magento website was highly effective due to its complex catalog and WordPress CMS integration. Our previous optimized content and PPC campaigns boosted their visibility and conversions. Post-migration, they faced performance issues, prompting a review. We identified missing title tags, meta descriptions, headings, incorrect redirects, and missing contact forms, necessitating revisions to several landing pages.

Solution

Web Design & Development

We designed and developed product category and product sub-category landing pages. On key landing pages, we added custom widgets, an easy-to-complete Contact Us form, optimized images, trust icons, videos, strong call-to-action buttons, and more. 

Our team added an embedded contact form to the home page and updated the footer with copyright notices, trust icons, the logo, company address, disclaimers, and contact information to enhance user engagement and conversion.

The About Us page was re-formatted for consistency across all devices, and the website was updated to be fully responsive, improving mobile viewing and Google search rankings.

Product pages were updated with a new theme, high-resolution images, and pricing. We formatted content across multiple pages to follow best practices.

We fixed the search function on the parts page to handle incomplete or misspelled entries and resolved errors that prevented sub-category pages from loading more features.

Search Engine Optimization

We completed a thorough SEO audit and found missing Google Analytics tracking codes and internal links leading to 404 errors, which we fixed.

Our link builders secured features for NS Corporation on several websites and analyzed competitors’ backlinks to identify visibility opportunities. We wrote outreach articles for high-domain authority publications to boost SEO rankings.

Our SEO copywriting team added optimized copy tailored to search queries and enriched the website’s pages with keyword-rich metadata. We created a new HTML sitemap, implemented a redirect strategy for 404 errors, and resolved render-blocking and slow page load issues. Clickable phone and email contacts were added to headers, and a contact form was placed in banners. Metadata tags were optimized for length, duplication, and relevance.

Local Search Engine Optimization

To enhance the brand’s local presence, we optimized the Google Business Profile (GBP) with updated images, videos, descriptions, and contact information. After the client’s move, we re-optimized with the new address and location pictures. We created and optimized multiple business profile links and citations featuring the brand’s name, address, and phone (NAP). We regularly analyzed Local Search Grid (LSG) reports and made ongoing improvements.

Pay Per Click (PPC)

Our PPC team reviewed the performance of ads for keywords like “bus wash system” and “truck wash system,” focusing on keyword performance, cost per acquisition, and conversions. We removed outdated keyword match types and launched revised campaigns. With client approval, we launched new campaigns using high-performing keywords.

Organic search traffic steadily increased throughout the initial partnership. During the first campaign, organic monthly traffic to the home page improved by 42% when compared to the first month of the campaign. In the beginning, the website ranked for only three keywords. At the time the campaign was paused, the brand ranked for 1,172 keywords. Our efforts also helped grow the number of backlinks to the previous website.

Two months after resuming the campaigns, 18 months after pausing, organic users had already begun to rebound, increasing by 31.6%, new users by 31.9%, sessions by 34.6%, and contact form submissions by 70%. After two years now, we’re still seeing steady increases in the site performance. Organic users grew by 31%, sessions by 35.7%, engaged sessions by 43.9%, conversions by 43.1%, and engagement time per session by 16.3%.

Quarter over quarter, their Google Business Profile (GBP) metrics show organic clicks up 2.6%, impressions up 5.9%, and click through rate up 16%. The average keyword ranking improved from position 15 to position 13.1.

Our efforts resulted in more than 30 conversions per quarter, exceeding the client’s goal of 15 new leads per quarter. The brand achieved a 23% revenue conversion rate in the first five months of the partnership. The “bus washing system” campaigns continue to thrive, with increased clicks, impressions, and conversions, and reduced acquisition costs for non-branded campaigns.
